Calls have gone out for Glasgow to host the 2023 version of the Eurovision Song Contest, with the hopes of the UK smashing it at the 2022 competition.
With the odds of the UK winning Eurovision 2022 coming in at 9/1, only behind Sweden, Italy and Ukraine, the nation is in with a great chance to go all the way and win it for the first time since 1997.
This year, singer and musician Sam Ryder is representing the UK with his track SPACE MAN.

The 32-year-old shot to fame when his cover songs went viral on TikTok in 2020.
He became the most popular UK artist on the platform, accumulating more than 12 million followers.
With the finale fast approaching on Saturday, May 14, people have been calling for the location to be UK-based next year - most specifically Glasgow!
This years finale will be held in Turin in Italy, but avid fans of the show have put forward their suggestions for the next host city through social media.
One Twitter user said: "If the UK does pull it off, I will be gutted if #Eurovision 2023 isn't held at the Hydro in Glasgow."
Another wrote: "I’ve been manifesting Glasgow 2023 for weeks now but would not mind going back to Manchester, last time I visited was in 1997 which HEY. Was a prrrretty important year for the UK in Eurovision."

And a third said: "As a UK/Finland Eurovision fan I'm so hyped this year that for once I have not one but TWO entries that are good, one even being in the running to win! Hype! Glasgow 2023????"
Other comments read: "GLASGOW 2023 BELIEVE #Eurovision", and "The fact..we....could win Eurovision this year??? Glasgow 2023 sounds perfect I say."

To vote for your favourite act during the final, you will need to download the app via the BBC Eurovision page, or call using the onscreen numbers during the show.
When the voting opens, the acts will be listed in performance order and you vote for one act at a time. Make sure you have chosen the right acts, as there is a limit on the number of acts you can vote for.
