Calls for Belfast's oldest public building to be saved after years of neglect

Belfast

A group are calling for Belfast's oldest public building to be saved.

The historic Assembly Rooms sits at the junction of North Street and Waring Street and was built in 1769.

At an event taking place on Saturday, July 16 as part of the Harps Alive Festival, the public are asked to come along to urge Belfast City Council to save the Grade B1 listed building after years of neglect.
