Callander got into the festive spirit last weekend as the town’s Christmas lights were switched on.
The event included a parade which passed between Main Street and Ancaster Square, with Callander Brass keeping the crowds entertained with Christmas carols - while hot chocolate and mulled wine were available to keep those in attendance going on a chilly night.
A fancy dress competition was also organised for the youngsters, who were also able to feed Santa’s reindeer.
The big man himself was in attendance in his sleigh, with two live reindeer - and watched on as local businesswoman Julie Carmichael completed the task of switching on the lights.
It was organised by Richard and Mary Johnson, with help from many organisations and people in Callander.
