Call the Midwife star Laura Main, who plays nurse Shelagh Turner on the popular BBC show, wowed fans with a totally different look when she appeared on Saturday morning TV this weekend. The star appeared on ITV's James Martin's Saturday Morning show.
As well as talking Call the Midwife, she discussed her her current job touring the UK in play Steel Magnolias, Laura has appeared all 12 seasons of the show since 2012.
Laura shared an Instagram post thanking James Martin and ITV for having her on the show, reports MyLondon. She wrote: "Being cooked for is one of my favourite things, and it doesn’t get better than being cooked for by @jamesmartinchef!
"Thank you so much for having me on James Martin’s Saturday Morning, on this morning on ITV1 now until 11.40am. I’m taking about @steelmagnoliasplay and of course @callthemidwife.official. And the food was delicious!"
Laura wore her hair in a short, blown-out style with no glasses and natural-looking makeup. She wore a £455 midi skirt from designer Anna Mason.
Laura paired the skirt with a £545 cream jumper from the same brand. Fans gushed over the Call the Midwife star calling her a "pretty lady". Another wrote: "Looking gorgeous as always!" Others also thanked the TV show for including Laura as a guest as she is so "engaging".
