A woman was pulled to safety after falling into California’s Kern River and being carried downstream by the fast-moving current, in a rescue that was captured on dramatic video over the weekend. First responders found her partially submerged beneath a rock outcropping near a steep cliff before using a life jacket and rescue rope to bring her out of the water.
