The latest mass shooting in the state took place across two farms around the local community of Half Moon Bay. Four victims of the attack were found at a mushroom farm while three others were found at a nearby trucking business.

An eighth victim is reportedly in critical condition and is being treated in hospital. The bloody attack was witnessed by some children who were let out of school and lived on the rural property.

Once the killings were carried out, suspect Chunli drove to a sheriff's office substation where he was promptly pinned to the ground and arrested by officers. He reportedly had a semi-automatic pistol which may have been used to carry out the attack.
