Caleb Flynn has been found guilty of murdering his wife, Ashley, after prosecutors highlighted a message to his mistress declaring 'I'm free' and argued that his account of a fatal break-in was a cover story.
The 40-year-old former American Idol contestant was convicted in Miami County, Ohio, on 29 September. Ashley, a 37-year-old teacher and volleyball coach, was shot dead at their Tipp City home on 16 February.
