Caitlyn Jenner says she got turned away from a top restaurant she’s visited for decades

"Shame on you. Disgusting. I have been a patron for decades. No longer.”

Caitlyn Jenner said that she got turned away from a top LA restaurant that she visited for two decades - all because of a “tiny rip” in her jeans.

On Monday, Jenner took to her Instagram Story to rail against the historic Beverly Hills Hotel and their parent company, the Dorchester Collection, for denying her entry.

“F*** your horrible service for not letting me have lunch with this tiny rip in my jeans. “Shame on you. Disgusting. I have been a patron for decades. No longer,” the reality star captioned a picture that showed her jeans with the small rip.

In another Instagram Story, Jenner also shared screenshots of a TMZ report that spoke on her dress code, which reportedly occurred at the hotel’s Polo Lounge, described as a combination of “old and new school” Hollywood.

TMZ said it had spoken to a source close to Jenner, who said that she was “really caught off guard, especially because she was dressed in full hair and makeup.”

Despite this, the hotel stood firm in its decision and referred TMZ to the establishment’s dress code.

“At the Polo Lounge, we encourage you to dress for the occasion, so we ask that you refrain from wearing casual hats, ripped denim, crop tops, nightwear, swimwear, and men’s sleeveless shirts. After 4pm, we do not permit shorts, flip-flops (including Birkenstocks) or sportswear (including tracksuits). Children under 10 are exempt,” the code read on the website.

Jenner ran for California governor in the September recall election in a bid to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom but failed to make a mark, drawing only 1 per cent of the poll votes.

Indy100 reached out to the Beverly Hills Hotel for comment.
