Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark made even more WNBA history on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Sparks at home.
During the game’s second half, Clark nailed her 100th 3-pointer of the season on a really nice basket from right behind the arc.
Clark is the only rookie and only the sixth WNBA player in league history to record 100 3-pointers in a season. She’s also the fastest to ever reach that mark in scoring 3-pointers.
That puts Clark in elite company as she’s coasting to the WNBA Rookie of the Year honor and maybe even a handful of MVP votes in the process.
It’s Clark’s time to shine right now as her Fever look like a formidable WNBA playoff contender.
Caitlin Clark turns it up a notch 😮💨
The Fever guard is now the only rookie and just the 6th player in WNBA history to record 100 3PM in a single szn!
