Caitlin Clark made more NCAA history on Friday night.
During the Iowa Hawkeyes’ matchup against the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Big Ten tournament, Clark drained her 163rd three-pointer of the season.
That puts her alone on the NCAA’s Division I all-time leaderboard for most treys in a single season, surpassing Steph Curry, who splashed 162 three-pointers for Davidson in 2007–08.

Liberty guard Darius McGhee also drained 162 three-pointers in 2022–23. It took Curry and McGhee 36 games apiece to reach the mark.
Clark knocked down her 163rd triple—and counting—in just her 31st game of the season.
After his record-setting 2007–08 season, Curry would return to the Wildcats for one more campaign before being drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2009.
Clark, after four stellar years at Iowa, recently announced her plans to enter the 2024 WNBA draft. Clark is expected to be selected with the No. 1 pick, held by the Indiana Fever.
