Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark’s first WNBA season has ended, as her team was eliminated from the 2024 WNBA Playoffs on Wednesday night against the Connecticut Sun.
Clark’s final WNBA game of 2024 sparked one final milestone for the superstar, as she became only the second rookie in league history to record 20 points, five rebounds and five assists in a playoff game.
The only other WNBA rookie to achieve this mark? Minnesota Lynx legend Maya Moore, who Clark credits as her childhood idol.
How cool is that? Just before Clark’s rookie season ended, she got to join league playoff history alongside someone who means so much to her.
Despite the loss, Caitlin Clark joined Maya Moore as the only rookies to drop 20 PTS, 5 REB and 5 AST in a WNBA playoff game 🔥 pic.twitter.com/GtZi0ncKsm
