Caitlin Clark broke the NCAA scoring record on a sideline 3-point logo shot because of course she did

She’s done it. Caitlin Clark is the NCAA’s Division I women’s basketball all-time scoring leader.

There’s been speculation all season about when Caitlin Clark would break Kelsey Plum’s scoring record. When will she do it? How will she get there? But Clark did things on her time, and she fittingly broke the record at home in front of Iowa fans who have supported her during her college career.

True to form (as she did when she passed 3,000 career points), Clark nailed a filthy 3-point shot FROM-THE-LOGO and kept going like she hadn’t just broken history. Fans shouldn’t be surprised by that. It’s what Clark wanted. However, her team did call a timeout to celebrate her moment. Truthfully, there needed to be some reaction for her because WHEW, BOY. HOLY CAITLIN CLARK, BATMAN! SHE IS ELECTRIC!

Nobody has turned women’s college basketball upside down like Caitlin Clark has in the last four years.
