Darkness Into Light returns this weekend and for the first time since before the pandemic, crowds will be able to gather for large scale walks in various locations around Dublin.
Official Darkness Into Light walks are taking place in Cabinteely Athletic Club, Clontarf, DCU Campus, Malahide Castle, Marlay Park, Phoenix Park, Ringsend, Swords Rivervalley and Tymon Park.
Many businesses in these areas will be opening their doors extra early for those taking part in the massive charity event in aid of Pieta House.

Hole in the Wall, Phoenix Park
Hole in the Wall, aka Europe's longest pub, will be open from 4am on Saturday for Darkness Into Light walkers. From that time, they will be serving coffees and pastries to participants. All proceeds will be donated to Pieta House.
Buglers, Rathfarnham
Buglers in Rathfarnham will also be open from 4am, serving hot drinks and the opportunity for visitors to light a candle for those who are no longer with us.
Up @ Brews, Terenure
Up @ Brews, which is located at Terenure College RFC, will be open from 5.30am and will be donating all coffee taking until 11am to Pieta House.
Surge Coffee, Clontarf
Surge Coffee in Clontarf will be open from 3.15am and all coffee earnings until 7.30am will go to the mental health charity.
Froth Coffee, Clondalkin
Froth Coffee in Clondalkin will be open from 5.30am. All profits from the morning will be donated to Pieta House.
Dash Cafe, Phoenix Park
Many a walker will be taking on Darkness Into Light in Dublin's Phoenix Park. Dash Coffee will be open from 4am to serve coffee and pastries to walkers before and after the event. There are also toilet facilities and free parking nearby.
Bump & Grind, Ballyfermot
Bump & Grind on the Ballyfermot Road will be open from 3.30am to serve hot drink, sausage rolls, overnight oats and more. Proceeds from 3.30am until 8am go directly to Pieta House.
Inhaler Coffee, Shankhill
Inhaler Coffee in Shankhill will be opening its hatch at the earlier time of 6.30am, and will be donating any proceeds made until 10am to Pieta House.
Old Mill Coffee Dock, Rivervalley
The Old Mill Coffee Dock at Peacocks Bar & Lounge in Rivervalley from 5:30am with €2 teas and coffees as well as other treats until 7.30am.
Bold & Brass, Clontarf
Bold & Brass in Clontarf will be open for walkers down the seafront from 4.30am. They will be serving coffee and will have donation buckets there as well.
20% of their takings from the morning will go to Pieta House.
The Martello, Bray
For any walkers completing Darkness Into Light in Bray, The Martello will be open from 4.15am serving breakfast rolls, porridge, pancakes, tea and coffee.
€1 from each meal will be donated to the charity.
Nic Gemma Cupcakes and Brew, Harmonstown
Located beside Harmonstown DART station, Nic Gemma Cupcakes and Brew will be open from 5.15am and will be serving hot drinks, with €2 of all hot drinks sold until 8am going to Pieta House.
Brambles Cafe, Marlay Park
Brambles Cafe in Marlay Park will open extra early to serve walkers taking part in Darkness Into Light in the south Dublin park.
JoJos Of Manor Road, Palmerstown
Jojo's of Manor Road in Palmerstown will open from 5.30am on Saturday especially for Darkness Into Light.
505 Coffee, Loughlinstown
505 Coffee will open at 5.30am for Darkness Into Light 2022. They will have a donation bucket on the counter and will be matching the amount raised.
