Bystander captures moment man is chucked over 12ft railings onto busy road below

  • The incident, which occurred on 28 October 2025, involved Meredith pushing his victim over the railings of a raised pedestrian walkway.
  • Dashcam footage showed the victim falling headfirst onto the road, narrowly missing an oncoming vehicle.
  • The victim suffered severe injuries, including a broken spine, broken shoulders, six broken ribs, and significant bruising.
  • Meredith was convicted at Exeter Crown Court of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
