Electric vehicle giant Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) is seeing weaker demand for its vehicles in the United States for numerous reasons, including increased competition from foreign automakers launching new vehicles in the United States.

While Tesla’s foe, BYD Co (OTC:BYDDY), poses a threat to Tesla's global dominance, it could be another Asian automaker that disrupts Tesla in the United States.
