Adding a case or cover to your Kindle is a no-brainer. Not only will it protect it from scratches and bumps, but it can also make it more comfortable to read, by adding a handle, stand or improving grip. In this article, I've rounded up my favorite cases for the entry-level, 6-inch Kindle.
In our Amazon Kindle review, we awarded this model 4 stars — if you just want something simple and affordable, it's one of the very best e-readers you can buy. However, it's the only model not to have IPX8 waterproofing, so protection against spillages is another strong incentive to invest in a good cover. (Side note: the Amazon Prime Day sales are coming and we're expecting discounts on multiple Kindles; if you haven't bought yours yet, it might be worth holding off until the 23-26 June to see if it gets a deal.)
