Drinks retailer Majestic Wine has launched cases of its favourite tipples that cannot be purchased at any other store and customers are able to get the whole cost refunded as part of the deal. For a limited time, members who sign up to the Majestic Wine Club will get the full cost of their case back in vouchers to spend online and in-store, helping them to discover their favourites for less.
The wines featured in its Italian Spring Case are available only as part of ‘Wine Club’ by Majestic, which gives members early exclusive access ahead of other customers. Cases start at £99 and are filled with a mixture of familiar favourites, as well as some lesser known varieties.
Wine lovers can choose between the Discovery Case (£99), a deep dive into Italy’s best loved wine and recipes, The Tour Case (£149) for an exploration of regional favourites and hidden gems and The Grand Tour Case (£199), a specially selected mix of some of Italy’s finest wines and recipes for the ultimate food and drink experience.
Highlights of the Discovery Case include the Feudo Antico Pecorino Biologico, a stunning alternative to Italian favourite Pinot Grigio. The Tour Case features the Pogian Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore, one of the country's wine icons.
The Grand Tour Case features some of the very finest bottles the country has to offer. Elizabeth Kelly, master of wine and wine buyer at Majestic, said: “Food and wine are a match made in heaven and we hope our new Italian Spring case helps people discover how the two can be best enjoyed together. Each case has been specially curated by us, working with our expert buyers and incredible Italian producers to give members the chance to try new wines that aren’t available anywhere else.”
Each case comes complete with educational materials, video tastings and expert advice at an accessible level to help customers get the most out of their Spring Case. The retailer also promises to replace any wine that doesn’t please a customer’s palate or will happily refund the full amount.
