Busted star Charlie Simpson has urged parents to be extra careful this summer after his son was rushed to hospital during a family holiday.
The singer took to Instagram to explain that his four-year-old son Jago has spent the last three days in hospital after experiencing "secondary drowning." Secondary drowning happens when an individual inhales water due to a near drowning or struggle in the water.
Charlie described the incident as "terrifying" and is sharing the post to raise awareness for anyone who may deal with similar situations in the future. The singer added Jago was just minutes away from catching pneumonia and if he and his wife, Anna Barnard, didn't act as quick as they did the "outcome could have been very different".
