Eight government departments, including the Ministry of Commerce, issued an action plan outlining seven measures to promote smart home appliance consumption.
The measures include expanding the supply of smart home appliances, improving standard systems, supporting consumer subsidies, developing elderly-friendly products and streamlining recycling chains.
Mining safety standards
China released four mandatory national standards for mining safety to screen and control risks at the source, which will take effect March 1.
The standards establish a comprehensive census every three years and set safety technical requirements for battery cells and modules tailored to the special operating environment of underground mines.
