China Sets Renewable Energy Targets for 2030

China’s National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration have issued the 15th Five-Year Plan for a new-energy system, aiming to establish a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient framework by 2030. The plan sets key targets for non-fossil energy consumption, wind and solar capacity and non-fossil power generation, striving for renewables to account for 30% of total power generation by 2030.

Apple Hikes Prices

Apple has announced global price increases, driven by AI data centers that are pushing up chip costs. Prices for several flagship Mac and iPad models have risen by hundreds of dollars, while iPhone prices remain unchanged for now.
