China to Phase Down Small Coal-Fired Power Units
The National Energy Administration issued an energy conservation and carbon reduction action plan for the energy sector, stating that it will shut down a batch of coal-fired power units with a capacity of 300,000 kilowatts or below, while promoting the upgrade of a batch of 600,000-kilowatt coal-fired power units.
