Buses to replace trains on popular Scottish route this weekend

ScotRail

A RAIL replacement service will run on a popular Scottish line this weekend.

ScotRail has announced that the line from Dumbarton Central to Helensburgh will close on Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10.

Bus services will replace the railway in order to let engineering work take place.

Rail replacement vehicles may be busier than usual and travellers are advised to allow extra time for their journey.

ScotRail has asked its customers to check their journey before travelling this weekend and to use the services Rail Replacement Service page online for more information.
