Bus carrying children FLIPS during school run with a 'number' in hospital for injuries

A bus carrying children on a school run flipped leaving a 'number' in hospital for injuries.

The emergency services rushed to the scene in Frome, Somerset, on the B3090 Oldford Hill at around 3.35pm.

A number of passengers were checked over by paramedics at the scene while others were taken to hospital for further assessment - their injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

Investigating officers from Avon and Somerset Police are now liaising with the school and the parents of children involved in the crash. Enquiries are also taking place at the scene to establish the cause of the collision.

The police warn that the road is likely to remain for some time. Motorists have been urged to avoid the area where possible, reports Somerset Live.
