Burnley vs Watford called off as Newcastle United's relegation rivals face fixture pile-up

Burnley are set to face a major fixture pile-up between now and the end of the Premier League season after it was confirmed that their game against Watford has been postponed.

Sean Dyche's men were scheduled to face the Hornets at Turf Moor on Tuesday evening, but the match has been called off following a meeting with the Premier League board.

This is the fifth Burnley game to be postponed since December 15 and the second within the space of three days after their clash with Leicester City was called off on the weekend.
