A convicted burglar who targeted footballer Raheem Sterling's mansion as well as Nottinghamshire homes has had his home taken away from him. Thomas Mee pleaded guilty to conspiracy to burgle and handling stolen goods.
He was jailed for more than eight years at Chester Crown Court on July 31, 2020. Mee, formerly of Queens Drive, along with two other criminals targeted homes in Cheshire, Nottinghamshire, Worcestershire, Buckinghamshire and Warwickshire between January 2018 and October 2019, reports Liverpool Echo.
Homeowners were left heartbroken after the men stole around £500,000 of luxury goods, with their hauls including treasured family heirlooms. The men targeted Raheem Sterling's Cheshire mansion and the Buckinghamshire home of Jamiroquai star Jay Kay.
