Katie Taylor will be keeping a close eye on a number of fights over the coming weeks as she prepares for her next bout.
The undisputed lightweight queen has not fought since her historic Madison Square Garden win over Amanda Serrano earlier this year, but is expected to get back in the ring before the end of 2022.
A bumper schedule of women's bouts is coming up in September and Taylor has been linked with facing a number of the fighters who will be in action, both by herself and by her promoter Eddie Hearn.
Here's what fights are coming up over the next few weeks and what they could mean for Taylor:
Natasha Jonas v Patricia Berghult September 3
Liverpool's Natasha Jonas faces Patricia Berghult of Sweden this weekend in a WBO and WBC super-welterweight world title unification bout.
Taylor defeated Jonas on her way to winning Olympic gold in 2012 before they fought out a fight of the year contender in May 2021.
The Liverpudlian narrowly lost on points on that occasion and she admitted earlier this year that she would love to come down in weight again to face the Bray Bomber one more time.
She told Sky Sports: "I would love a rematch with Katie. I think a lot of people did say they would love to see it again. It's not impossible, I just have to put myself in a position to be mandatory and that was kind of the plan all along."
Jonas v Berghult takes place in Liverpool on Saturday night and is live on Sky Sports.
Mikaela Mayer v Alycia Baumgardner September 10
Mikaela Mayer has stated on numerous occasions that she would like to fight the undisputed lightweight queen.
Eddie Hearn has also hinted that the American could be a potential opponent for Taylor in the future.
Mayer, who holds the WBO and IBF super-featherweight belts, faces WBC title holder Alycia Baumgardner in a unification bout on a historic all-women's fight card in London next weekend, which is headlined by Claressa Shields v Savannah Marshall.
Baumgardner has also expressed her interest in facing Taylor and a win for either here could see them push for a move up in weight to challenge for all the lightweight belts.
Amanda Serrano v Sarah Mahfoud September 24
If Taylor had her way, she would be fighting Amanda Serrano next month and the rematch would be taking place at Croke Park.
However, Serrano's team didn't seem interested in the rematch taking place in Ireland this year and it will hopefully go ahead at GAA Headquarters next spring.
WBC and WBO featherweight champion Serrano will instead face IBF titlist Sarah Mahfoud in a unification bout as the co-main event of the Joe Joyce v Joseph Parker card in Manchester.
This fight was originally set to take place at Madison Square Garden earlier this month, but the event was cancelled after Serrano's promoter Jake Paul pulled out of his fight with Hasim Rahman Jr, which was to headline the card, due to a dispute about the weight limit for the bout.
Serrano will be expected to return to winning ways against the undefeated Danish fighter.
Cris Cyborg v Simone Silva September 25
MMA legend Cris Cyborg will have her first professional boxing bout in her native Brazil on September 25.
The Bellator featherweight champion and former UFC title holder has made it clear the reason she is switching to boxing is to face Taylor.
A winning debut could see a fight between the Brazilian and Taylor take place in the coming months, with Las Vegas the likely venue.
