Bumble rules changed: Dating app changes its biggest rule after 12 years, introduces major update for users

Bumble

Bumble is changing a key feature that has defined the dating app since its launch in 2014. The platform will now also allow men to make the first move, ending its long-standing women-first messaging policy.

Under the updated system, either person can send the first message, giving both users more flexibility when starting a conversation.
