Everyone who’s ever been a Chicago Bulls fan will want to get in on the action at an upcoming auction, as they’ll not only have the chance to own a part of Michael Jordan‘s history, but they’ll get that chance for a staggeringly low price of $23. (H/t Bleacher Report)
Led by the livestream shopping company Whatnot, Jordan’s car will be among a slate of items that will all be auctioned for $23 – an homage to the legendary NBA player’s iconic number. Selling a car for $23 is crazy. Selling a piece of Jordan memorabilia for $23 is just as insane. But to get both of those in a package deal for that price while also honoring a legend is a deal most Bulls fans won’t want to pass up on.
The “auction” will come in the form of a drop, where fans and collectors alike will get the chance to join, effectively putting them in the running to win the right to buy the item.
Jordan’s pre-owned car has been on display as a part of The National Sports Collectors Convention for the majority of the past week (from July 26-30) and will now be passed on to one lucky winner.
In most cases, Jordan merchandise can go for millions of dollars, especially when it’s a one-of-a-kind item like his 1996 Mercedes-Benz. But Whatnot is doing things differently.
They’ll be offering up tons of different merchandise for the iconic price of $23, and the car is among the lot.
Are you going to get in on the action in an attempt to buy Jordan’s car?
