Hey, Chicago Bulls fans? I know the perception — especially after The Last Dance documentary — has grown that former general manager Jerry Krause was somehow mostly to blame for the Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen dynasty breaking up (reminder: he built that dynasty!).
But even if that was the case, you shouldn’t boo the late Krause during a Ring of Honor ceremony, especially when his widow, Thelma, is sitting right there. She was visibly upset at the reaction, and rightfully so.
What else is rightful is the reaction from ex-Bull and Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr, along with that from former Bull Stacey King on the broadcast — they used words like “shameful” and “classless”:
