Bukayo Saka is set to put pen-to-paper on a long-term Arsenal contract that will quadruple his salary and make him the club’s highest earner.
Saka joined the North London club when he was aged seven but his existing deal was due to expire in the summer of 2024 – just 15 months away. However, he is now poised to extend his stay at the Gunners through to 2028.
The England international followed his Euro 2020 disappointment by top-scoring for the Gunners last season as they narrowly missed out on the top four – netting 11 Premier League goals. Saka has surpassed that tally already this campaign after scoring two of Arsenal's goals in their 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace last time out.
