From the outside, Gurgaon’s corporate offices can look like the perfect picture of a successful career. Glass buildings, bright lights and busy offices have become part of the city’s identity. But a short video filmed outside these towers at night has opened up a very different conversation about what happens inside them.
The video, posted by a corporate employee on social media, shows him standing in front of Gurgaon’s illuminated office buildings and talking about his own experience of working in the city. He describes what he believes is the gap between the polished image of a corporate workplace and the pressure employees can face once they are inside.
