RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced in the budget to raise a new "District Strike force" in Maoist affected Bastar region.
The setting up of a new task force will throw up promotion opportunities and better salaries to the assistant constables, who include erstwhile special police officers (SPOs), victims of Naxal violence and surrendered rebels, who have returned to the mainstream of the society.
