Update: After publication, we spoke to a source close to Shane who confirmed it was not his drink. It was just a case of unfortunate drink placement. It actually belonged to the woman sitting next to him, who had the nearby cupholder. He was drinking a Bud Light, which we later saw get handed to him.
Who would've thought when he was fired from Saturday Night Live that Shane Gillis would go on to become one of the biggest comedians on the planet? His stand-up comedy took off, he has his own series, Tires, available with a Netflix subscription, and he also just so happens to be a spokesperson for Bud Light, one of the biggest beers in the nation. Hopefully, all three of those things are still true later this week, following a viral clip where he (allegedly) indulged in a rival beer.
