Country music icon Dolly Parton has died at the age of 80 following a brief battle with cancer.
Her death was announced by her nephew Bryan Seaver on Tuesday 25 August and confirmed by her representative.
She passed away surrounded by loved ones at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville.
The Changing of the Guard's military band paid tribute by performing her hit song 9 to 5 outside Buckingham Palace.
The Royal Family honoured her on Instagram, highlighting her legacy and the millions of children helped by her Imagination Library.
