Bubba Watson is one of the game's biggest characters, with his larger than life personality being shown through his equipment set-up.
Having used Ping golf clubs since he was the age of eight, the two-time Major winner has a rather unique bag of clubs, including 13-year-old irons and grips that possess an insane amount of wraps, between eight-to-13 layers.
Along with that portion of his set-up, there's still the bright pink driver head, as well as a wedge model that was released in 2017.
Speaking in an exclusive with Golf Monthly, Watson went through his golf bag at the International Series Morocco, a tournament he narrowly missed out winning.

Driver
Beginning with the driver, with Watson using the Ping G440 Max in traditional pink and black colorway, as well as a 'Bubba' stamp on the crown.
Shaft-wise, the American uses a Project X HZRDUS RDX Black 60, which has been in-play for some time, with the grip set slightly open so that he can hit a consistent cut off the tee.
"I usually go with the new driver because of the new technology," Watson told Golf Monthly, with the Ping G440 Max one of the best, and most forgiving, drivers money can buy.
Fairway Wood
Although Watson uses the newest Ping driver, he still opts for the older Ping G430 Max fairway wood, which is still one of the best Ping fairway wood models on the market.
A Project X HZRDUS RDX Black 80 shaft is present, with the color once again involving pink. Set at 15°, it's the only fairway wood in Watson's bag, a configuration he's had for some time.
Utility Iron
Depending on course set-up, Watson will implement a 2-iron, with a Ping iBlade joining the bag.
"When we built it, it's almost like a 1-iron," explains Watson. "We built it a little stronger so, off the tee, like when we played Valderrama, I can keep it low with the wind."
He added, it's "my debate when I go to every golf course. Is it a 2-iron or is it a 3-iron? How far are the par 3s? What kind of hole shapes are there?"
When Watson does use it, we believe it features a Fujikura Ventus Black shaft.
Irons
Watson claims that he "likes to keep with equipment he knows," which is shown via his irons, specifically the Ping S55, a model released all the way back in 2013.
Still used by the likes of Matt Fitzpatrick, Watson has the S55 in a 3-iron to 9-iron configuration, and occasionally uses the S55 pitching wedge, also.
Featuring True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts, the reason why Watson still has these irons in the bag is because of turf interaction.
Speaking to Golf Monthly, the American stated: "Sometimes they have a sharper edge and a thinner sole. So I need the old school irons that help me get the ball in the air as I get older."
Wedges
Moving to the scoring section of the bag, where you will find Ping Glide 2.0 wedges, which feature in a 52°, 56° and 60°.
At the time of recording, Watson had been experimenting with a new lob wedge, with the two-time Major winner revealing that his current gamer had been in the set-up for two years.
"I use a lob wedge everywhere, so I'm trying to get the lob wedge to feel right..." he says. "The new wedge is getting there, but it doesn't have the old school feel, so it takes me a while to put in a new lob wedge."

Putter
The final club in Watson's bag is the putter, specifically a Ping Tyne H, a mallet-fang design which has been in the set-up for around a year to 18 months.
"I've always hit putts short and not put enough pace on them," explained Watson. "I wanted to go to a heavier head so that the ball would roll out a bit better. I let (Ping's) engineers give me a putter that would help me get the ball to roll a little bit further."
In fact, speaking at LIV Golf UK in 2025, Watson revealed that part of the inspiration for a putter change came from fellow Range Goats GC player, Peter Uihlein, who said that Watson should work on a consistent putting stroke.
Speaking at JCB Golf & Country Club, Watson stated: "He (Uihlein) told me a couple things to do, a couple of training aids, a couple of different things to use. Then I went back to the Ping engineers and asked them what kind of putter do I need.
"I need something that can hit it harder but also keep the ball on line if you mis-hit it. So we went to a mallet. I got a mallet, a Tyne putter, and it's working so far."
Golf Ball
Rounding out Watson's WITB is the golf ball, where he uses the Titleist Pro V1x, arguably the best golf ball money can buy.
"I'm not good enough to tell the difference," explains Watson. "All the pros have different versions of the Pro V1, whereas I just hit it.
"We use them on the range anyway, so by the time we have a new ball out we've been hitting it on the range, chipping with it anyway."
