It sounds like former five-star prospect Xavier Booker has taken a big step in his game this offseason.
Stephen Bardo — a well-known college basketball analyst and commentator for various networks — noted this past weekend that Booker has apparently made a ton of “progress” this offseason. Bardo stated in a short clip video (see below) that he’s hearing great things out of East Lansing, Mich. on the progression of Booker.
Booker was a highly-rated prospect in the 2023 class but played a smaller role as a true freshman this past season. He appeared in 27 games this past season, averaging 3.7 points and 1.7 rebounds across 9.2 minutes per game.
