BSUSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026: Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for the posts must have:
- A Master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks.
- A relaxation to 50% marks is available for SC, ST, BC, EBC and PwD candidates belonging to Bihar.
- Qualified UGC NET, CSIR NET or Bihar SET.
Candidates who have been awarded a PhD under the UGC 2009 or UGC 2016 Regulations are exempt from the NET requirement.
The minimum age is 21 years, while the upper age limit is 43 years as on August 1, 2026. Age relaxation for reserved category candidates will be provided as per the recruitment rules.
