GORAKHPUR: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Thursday attacked the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Congress, saying these parties were spreading rumours about the BSP to mislead people.
"Party like SP and Congress are misleading the SC community. BSP is a national party and it is not an A or B team of anyone. The party follows the principle of Sarvjan Hitae, Sarvjan Shukjae (benefits to all peace and happiness to all). BSP takes all religions, castes and classes with it. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) policies are based on casteism and capitalism and SP takes care of only a special class," Mayawati said at a rally in Basti.
