BSF salutes Major’s role in Mukti Bahini formation and Bangla Liberation War

KOLKATA: Fifty years after the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971, the Border Security Force (BSF) has chronicled the valour shown by the Indian Armed Forces while securing the borders.

In the 2021-22 annual issue of Borderman — a magazine published by the BSF — it features the narration by retired Major Parimal Kumar Ghosh, PK to his friends. Ghosh was one of the first Indians to play a crucial role in the first victory of the freedom fighters in Bangladesh.
