BSE, NSE Holidays 2026: Is the stock market open or closed on May 28?

BSE Stock Market India MCX

Indian stock markets are headed for a shortened trading week, with both the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE set to remain closed on Thursday, May 28, on account of Bakri Id. The month saw a holiday earlier too, with markets being shut on May 1 for Maharashtra Day.
