On Monday, University of Alabama quarterback Bryce Young reportedly canceled whatever was left of his pre-draft visits. And, uh, that news had its fair share of ramifications in the books.
With Young already having been a solid favorite to be selected atop the 2023 NFL draft, the move to forgo his remaining meetings feels like yet another sign that he’ll taken by the Carolina Panthers with the No. 1 overall pick. As a result, the odds from FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings have shifted even more towards the 2021 Heisman Trophy winner.

As noted by our bud Edgar there, Young had jumped and begun distancing himself from Ohio State University’s C.J. Stroud at the beginning of last week. But since then—in addition to the cancellations—numerous league insiders including ESPN’s Adam Schefter, NBC Sports’ Peter King, theScore’s Jordan Schultz and Houston’s Lance Zierlein have reported that the Panthers are favoring Young.
Well, we hope you had some Bryce Young tickets back from the weekend of March 10.
