Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is officially a Charlottean.
As detailed by CBS Sports lead NFL insider Jonathan Jones on Wednesday, the first overall pick of the 2023 draft has agreed to a multi-year sponsorship deal with the local fast-food powerhouse Bojangles. The popular restaurant chain would then confirm the tasty news a few hours later on social media:

Much, of course, has been made about Young’s 200-pound frame—which isn’t exactly the most robust for the quarterback position. But with the help of the Panthers training staff—and apparently some chicken and biscuits—the rookie has put in some work this offseason.
“I’ve been able to trust the strength and conditioning staff and the training staff at the organization,” Young told Jones. “This was something that we had talked about having sustainable meals that could help me in my training and still keep me active. Luckily with how the food’s prepared and the quality of it, it’s able to fall into that category. I’m definitely excited for that.”
And hey, it was only right . . .
