Bryce Young adorably gave himself a fist bump after a young Panthers fan left him hanging

Rookie Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has learned the hard way that some fan interactions might not go according to plan.

As he signed a young Panthers fan’s jersey during training camp this week, Young tried to give the kid a fist bump as they parted ways. Unfortunately, the kid walked away without seeing the gesture.

It hilariously left Young to give himself a fist bump instead, which has to be one of the most adorable things we’ve seen in the NFL offseason in some time.

The poor kid just had no idea he was about to get to fist bump an NFL quarterback, but Young rebounded quite nicely after he got left waiting.

Panthers fans are going to want to see how Young handles pressure situations, and nothing requires more in-the-moment maneuvering than being left cold on a fist bump.

If Young’s very funny reaction is any hint, Carolina is in very good hands with the first-overall 2023 NFL Draft pick.
