Bryan Johnson rethinks his longevity project: 'Wonder if I've taken this whole thing too far'; follows weeks after rare disease diagnosis

Bryan Johnson, the man who turned not dying into a full-time job, is having second thoughts.

On 30 July, the tech entrepreneur and founder of the Blueprint longevity project posted on X: "been thinking things over and wonder if i've taken this whole longevity thing too far."

It is a striking admission from someone who has spent years and millions of dollars trying to biologically reverse his age, submitting himself to a regime of hundreds of supplements, strict sleep schedules, plasma transfusions, and near-total avoidance of anything that could accelerate ageing. For Johnson to publicly question the project he built his entire post-tech identity around is, at minimum, a significant moment.
