The world's largest iceberg, known as A23a, has broken free after being trapped in a swirling vortex for months. Spanning a staggering 3,800 square kilometers (1,500 square miles), this colossal mass of ice is more than twice the size of Greater London and weighs nearly a trillion tons. To put it into perspective, it's slightly larger than the state of Rhode Island. The iceberg has been a subject of fascination and research since it broke off from Antarctica in 1986 but soon found itself stuck just off the coast.
