The brutal weather which swept across the country on Saturday will last until Monday at the earliest, as Met Eireann opted to issue three separate status yellow warnings.
An update issued at 3pm on Saturday is set to affect the entire western half of the country, though the east is expected to also see heavy showers and even some potential thunderstorms.
On top of that, we'll be hit by extremely strong winds.

The status yellow warning for rain issued earlier today for Munster and Connacht reads: "From Sunday afternoon, a spell of heavy rain will move northwards along with strengthening southeasterly winds.
"Disruption is expected including spot flooding."
It's valid from 1pm to 10pm on Sunday.
On top of that, there's a status yellow wind warning for Clare, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo.
It warns: "Very windy on Sunday night and Monday morning with further heavy showers. Southeasterly winds, veering southwesterly will reach mean speeds of 50 - 65km/h with gusts of 90 - 110km/h, higher near coasts and exposed areas."
That kicks in as soon as the rain warning ends at 10pm and runs through until midday on Monday.
To top it all off for those of you in Kerry and Limerick, a wind warning for Sunday evening reads: "Very windy on Sunday night. Southerly winds, veering southwesterly will reach mean speeds of 50 - 65km/h with gusts of 90 - 110km/h, higher near coasts and exposed areas."
