Chelsea supporters are all saying the same thing following the unveiling of next season's Premier League fixture list. Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate to get off to a winning start in the dugout at Stamford Bridge, but it looks to be nothing short of a difficult ask.
With Mauricio Pochettino to officially start his role as manager on July 1, he'll have the entire summer to get his feet under the table and begin planning for the new campaign. However, no amount of time on the training pitches at Cobham will prepare the Blues for the barrage of firepower which Liverpool are waiting to unload.
The west Londoners will kick-off their 2023/24 Premier League season by welcoming Jurgen Klopp's side to Stamford Bridge. In each of their meetings last term, Chelsea and Liverpool shared points following a pair of goalless draws – hopefully this time around there's a bit more action on display!
Next up, the Blues travel across London to lock horns with West Ham, who are increasingly likely to be without Declan Rice it seems. Then, Chelsea will face newly-promoted Luton Town before turning their attention to Nottingham Forest in a pair of clashes on home turf.
The west Londoners' fifth clash of the season is against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium, where Frank Lampard enjoyed a rampant 3-1 victory – so there's plenty of pressure of Pochettino to better the Englishman's score.
However, Chelsea supporters do not see to be too fazed by the opening handful of games. They're more worried about November, so football.london has taken a look at some of the reaction to the Blues' winter run-in.
