Bruno Tonioli 's appearance on The One Show yesterday evening alongside fellow guest Priyanka Chopra left some viewers unimpressed, whilst others defended him.
The choreographer, 67, had been invited onto the BBC show to discuss his role as a judge on the latest series of Britain's Got Talent, which launches this weekend.
He was the first guest introduced in last night's episode, with him having spoken about the ITV talent show whilst being interviewed by hosts Alex Jones, 46, and Anita Rani, 45.
The presenters later welcomed actor Priyanka, 40, into the studio to discuss her latest projects, which include the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series Citadel.
During her interview, Priyanka revealed that her family have been staying in the UK recently whilst her and her husband Nick Jonas, 30, have both been working over here.
Bruno responded: "Do you need a cook? I cook Italian!" After the fellow guest said she "can't cook," he added: "I'm in. I've got a few weeks off. I'm happy to cook. I'm hired."
The conversation then moved to her new project Citadel - which is set to be released later this month - with Bruno sharing his excitement over the TV show yesterday.
After the cast - which also includes Richard Madden and Lesley Manville - were named, he remarked: "Oh my god. All the bigguns." Alex teased that Bruno would like the show.
He then responded: "I've already researched it. I can't wait." Bruno mentioned the new show's producers, the Russo brothers, adding: "I mean I'm telling you, blockbusters!"
Some viewers felt as though Bruno had been interruptive whilst fellow guest Priyanka was being interviewed, with them having shared their thoughts on Twitter.
One said: "When [Priyanka] was interviewed he should have kept quiet". Another said: "Much as I like Bruno I wish he'd be quiet. This is Priyanka's interview which is short enough."
"Bruno really needs to be quiet. You've had your moment let [the other guest] have her turn," tweeted a third. Another suggested that he was "talking over" the interview.
A fifth person commented: "Enough now Bruno, you've had your turn". Whilst another viewer said in a tweet about the episode: "It's a shame Bruno wouldn't shut up."
Not everyone was unimpressed though, with some viewers having even defended Bruno. One tweeted: "Leave [him] alone. You don't get Bruno on to be a quiet door mouse".
Another seemed to find him entertaining, writing: "He has been the best guest [...] for ages. He doesn't care. Asks his own questions. Talks over items. Talks over the hosts asking the other guest questions. Laughs extravagantly."
The One Show airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on weekdays from 7pm. BGT returns on Saturday on ITV and ITVX from 8pm and continues Sunday at 7.45pm.
