Judge Bruno Tonioli is reported to have quit Strictly Come Dancing after 18 years, to focus on his role on the American version Dancing With The Stars. The choreographer has been part of Strictly since its launch in 2004, although has missed recent series thanks to pandemic travel restrictions.
According to The Mail, Bruno will not return to the show, with a source saying: "Bruno has quit the show for good."
Anton Du Beke stood in as judge last season while Bruno was stuck in the USA. But Anton recently said he has yet to be informed whether he will be a judge again on the next series. He told Sussex Life Magazine: "I'm hoping to get a call to say, 'Look, here you go, come back judging please. But we'll wait and see. I'd like to think I'd be on the show in one way or another."
