Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has warned the Red Devils’ Premier League rivals that the best is yet to come from his side after penning a new contract at Old Trafford. The Portuguese playmaker has signed fresh terms with the club, his new deal set to expire in 2026, albeit with the option to extend for a further year.
It is certainly a show of faith from Manchester United with the former Sporting Clube de Portugal star having not quite yet found his best form this season despite a stunning couple of campaigns for the club. After confirmation of his new deal, Fernandes hailed his team and suggested that they are ready to take the next step forward in challenging for honours.
Speaking to United’s official website, he said: “There is so much more that I want to achieve here, and I know that is the same for the rest of the squad and staff. More than anything, we want to give the fans the success that they deserve.
